Just received mine! Will be trying this out tomorrow. P&B performance is top notch and is by far the best I've used.

I got mine from Connaught having missed it on Kerry's site, shaved with it this morning. Really lovely soap, I'm not a huge fan of original Bay Rum so this really suits me especially having no clove.

Something about the scent reminds me of Coca Cola but only sometimes as I pick something new up from it every time I smell it :)

Great stuff dude.

Thanks for the great feedback, chaps. We're mighty pleased you're enjoying your Imperial Rum and super grateful for your continued support.

Best regards and happy shaving.

Kerry.

I would have liked to have tried it but buying Phoenix and Beau is abit of a lottery. It is a little too soft too for lathering up in the puck and face lathering too (which I do most often) though lovely prepared in a scuttle (my Albion especially).

Funny you say that because I now almost always face lather and P&B soaps still perform admirably for me! :p

I have the Albion though which is very soft due to the large amounts of grapefruit oil. It is more a cream consistency than soap. I get on better with harder soaps like Wickham and Nannys Signaure. The Albion is great for when I have time though.

You'd be fine with the imperial rum. It's much harder than Albion.

Got mine in the mail yesterday along with the solid cologne, used first thing this morning. It's the first bay rum soap I've used, so comparison is limited. Lathered as recommended by Kerry in a bowl. Usual brilliant (and thirsty) P&B performance, I love the scent at every stage - especially as it develops on the skin, and I love the smart and sophisticated packaging.

Received mine today, both soap and solid cologne. An interesting fragrance, initial sniff and I am on the fence. I can certainly get the lime notes and the spice. The spicyness reminds me of the dried fruit wreaths you can buy at Christmas time. Looking forward to giving it a run out tomorrow and I hope I like it, I find lately I'm hit and miss with new soaps :s

If you don't I'll take it off your hands, Welshie! :D
