Overcoats

Can anyone recommend an overcoat for Spring/Summer?
I prefer a classic rain coat...

I would recommend a vintage raincoat from Aquascutum or Burberry or Daks or Grenfell or...
Burberry are very over priced. The Aquascutum's are made in Baltic/Eastern European factories that make similar coats for others for a great deal less. Grenfell are still made in England.

Picked up a lovely Camel coloured overcoat for £20 (originally made for Harrods) with raglan shoulders and cuffed sleeves absolutely beautiful; have worn it every winter since; It now has had quite a few moth attacks but still looks good. Also picked up a Harris Tweed overcoat (again £20; originally made for Burtons) made on 06.03.1963 - 56 years ago, still going strong and looking good. Agree again with Sabre, can't beat the classic raincoat, probaly have about 4 of those. Oh and a Black Cashmere Double Breasted (again £20), can't really get a jacket under it but still looking good. Oh plus a Barbour (found discarded in a hotel rubbish bin by my partner) and a Hoggs of Fife Wax jacket with leather trim - paid full price for that. I think I've got enough now, but have always wanted a charcoal grey crombie (I bought my first navy blue one in C&A, but 40 old years on - doesn't fit me). Not forgetting a Loden and a couple of summer coats.

I have only bought vintage coats, Burberrys, Aquascutum, Daks, etc, very overpriced? if you are not willing to part with 40 pounds look elsewhere :) Made in England yay :)
