OSP Soap

Just used the orange and Patchouli. The performance is the best out there in my opinion. Lathered like a dream
The scent on the Orange/ patchouli is very subtle. I struggled to detect the notes in it but that might be just me.
The scents on the other new ones are stouter and more noticeable especially the peppermint and rosemary which smells ace.

Totally agree with you on this one.

I'm surprised you thought the orange and patchouli was subtle. it was quite strong in mine and testers opinions. Although I am not surprised you think the peppermint is the strongest. that stuff will blow you away!

I'm probably not a good judge of scent. Due to a misspent youth I had umpteen broken noses. Has to strip paint before I can smell it :) Excellent lather though and left my face nice and smooth.

Today received a parcel from James Riley Osp,

Attention ladies and gents!
You have spoken, and I have listened:
I have introduced cheaper postage rates on my website. EU postage for up to 2 soaps is £7, and approximately £10 for everywhere else. (Please note that this service is not tracked for recorded, and I cannot take responsibility for any lost items).
You said you wanted samples, and samples you will get! development has begun!
Thanks to you all.
PayPal will probably not agree with you, if a customer doesn't receive its item. Than you the seller are going be the one pulling the short stroke, because sending without tracking does not exempt you from the buy on distance law.

I mean I assume its the same in the UK, but believe me if any one complains to PayPal. Than PayPal going ask proof in the form of tracking, if you don't have it.. well consider it your risk of business than.

That's all I wanted to say, and actually I won a dispute yesterday from a UK seller also not taking responsible. I had no item ( Heck who says its shipped, when there is no tracking ) received after more than two months.

So than I just make a PayPal claim and it always results in my win, so you can't just say: you can't take any responsibility for lost items, its the sellers responsibly that the item gets to the customer. Unless its different in the UK which I doubt, because EU law overrules a country law.

Good Point.

This has also been raised to me by someone else.

Royal Mail provide proof of posting, which i do not think keeps me covered under paypal rules, but at least I can prove that I sent the products.

If this starts becoming a large issue, I will have to go recorded and tracked only. However, I would like to give my customers the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to have cheap postage at first.

Thanks for your help.

If you want a delivery company that's cheap & tracked for UK deliveries then myhermes is good , fully insured up £25 for £2.70 plus if you have to make a claim you will get your full amount unlike RoyalMail who will only give you what the item costs you not what you sold it for.

It's not, but it's actually just had to go up to this price as the above happened and I lost revenue. This way you get a fast, reliable option where nothing goes missing. It is my responsibility to make sure that my customers get their products, so that is what I am doing. However, this of course comes at a cost. Mind you, it os only £1 extra, and it does cater for up to 5 soaps.
