Unless it's a shedder which I doubt, I'm sure I will judging by some of the lofty opinions on here. A tad anxious about the horn but one needs to step outside of one's comfort zone every now and then.

Have tried the tracking number on 17Track? It gives you more precise information. You put your tracking number in the box and click on the orange box. The details will appear underneath in Chinese. Copy and paste the text and translate it on Google. It sounds more longwinded than it actually is.

Morning Rob, cheers for the link I'll give that a go .I sent Nick an email last night so hopefully he'll get in touch soon.

I don't like waiting for something and I don't like having nothing to wait for. :rolleyes::D
 
I ordered the 24mm Silvertip and what arrived was a fantastic beast of a brush!

Going toe-to-toe with a Simpson Duke III, I would rate the Maseto as a truly great rival. It has softer tips than the Simpson Best, but is lacking in density and backbone. The Maseto has a bit more splay in the knot too, so for a 24mm brush, it feels huge (the 30mm Silvertip must be insane!)

I'm loving MOST things about the brush, apart from the fact that it is a shedder! :eek:

I've contact Nick and he is arranging a replacement, so a big thumbs up for customer service.

Hmm, personally I would expect that. I've had 2 Masetos and both shed 6-7 hairs within the first couple of uses, by the 5th use they had stopped shedding completely... In fact its so minor I'm not sure I would call it shedding, I've had other brushes from well known makers in the past that shed 20+ hairs per use with no sign of letting up, now thats shedding!

RE MY MISSING MASETO
Got a reply from Nick, he said that he couldn't track down the brush either. He offered me a refund or a replacement, the wait begins !!!
