New Mühle stainless steel razor 'Rocca'

YMMV I'd say it's pretty aggressive but more than manageable. As for the Parker, Rockwell and ATT's you mention it depends on which setting you have them on or the model of ATT I'd say it's at least a 5 plate on the Rockwell and similar to an ATT R2 plate. Hope that helps?

That's very useful info. Being a stainless tart like yourself, I would probably have plumped for one soon, but I like them a little less aggressive - more like a Rockwell plate 3 is what I want.

I do agree it's about as aggressive as a Rockwell #5, but I found it had a lot of blade chattering compared to the Rockwell. I didn't like it eventually, and sold it....

I don't think so, probably the blade sticks out quite a bit more compared to the Rockwell...I also didn't particularly like the construction, the threaded stud appeared to be either press fitted or loctited in place, definitely not machined from billet like other SS razors so I thought it wouldn't last. My opinion obviously

Ok, from the German forums I learned that the head finishing is improved, because of quality control issues with the previous series. MÜHLE are slowly increasing production, but of course spend a lot of time on inspection for now.

Very useful info @wayne mattison. I like more aggressive razors (I use among others the Fatip OC v2 and the Variant at 4 and 5). Great info also from @Eeyore68 and the rest of the folks, much appreciated. Interesting info regarding the threaded stud also, as @carbold mentioned that is press fitted or loctited. Thank you all

Those of you who have the Rocca: How aggressive/efficient is the razor please? Let's say, compared to a Rockwell or a Parker Variant or any ATT that you may have used? Thanks!

I love my R96 - halfway between the ATT M1 and ATT M2 plates for me, in terms of description.

Always great shaves, one of my favorite HD razors.

As ever YMMV.
