Markus Herber Brushes

Thanks for that vid, Jamie - my new thing learned for today! So I'm guessing your rubber ring is, in fact, aluminum - as the man garbled.

As "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" you are in dire need of Optrex! Ask Spike.

I would think that the o-ring is rubber and just there to complete the tribute the RS-400. Looks like a relief is cut to hold it.

These brushes are really cool. Some of the patterns are a bit out there for me, but still impressive.

As promised and with other dumped in -

First the basin

Please note Gecko's oak plinth - 90mm makes all the difference - the top is 940mm above ground level.

and then a brush and some blades - another synthetic, this one from Bullgoose, Looney Bin Brush Works.

Thanks my darling, globalm for the Feathers.

And lastly, what this thread is about but with a Romero brush alongside -

Note un-anodised rubber ring.

Ain't they purdy?

And my Romero arrived, too! Yaay!

It arrived an age ago but was installed today - that basin you helped me with. How good is it to stand upright at a basin and be able to rest one's knuckles on its bottom? To wash one's hands without bending? Brilliantly good!

Lotsa photos manyarna.

That's my dream! I'm around 189cm(if I remember my conversion correctly) and so sick of breaking my spine to wash my face. The riser looks interesting. Is the sink affixed to it somehow?

Is that a cat flap in your window?
The thread where that photo belongs disappeared with the new old site. The cat flap was a consideration with the taps - one or two. I was so busy thinking about how they could still use it that I forgot about the effect of raising the basin so high They are learning a new route to it - via the loo with the lid down. He can make the leap from the floor but she is wary of that due to the shape of the new basin - new foot placements required. They will adapt soon enough!

The basin is attached to the wall and supported by the pedestal which sits on the plinth. The plinth is screw fixed to the floor, the pedestal screw fixed to the plinth, the basin rests on the pedestal. I'm a few centimeters taller than you.
