In which hand do you hold your razor to shave?

Left handed, I have less control over my right hand, I'd dearly love to be able to shave with a straight razor but previous attempts have resulted in me almost losing an ear...

I shave the left side with my left hand and the right and middle with my right hand. Just feels awkward trying to do nose to ear on the left side with my right hand!

Before letting my beard grow, since I started shaving, I used my left hand and my left hand only. So, in a couple of years, the left side of my neck is almost beard free, while the right one...compensates by growing down to Adam's apple. I don't know about you, but since I started to shave again, I use my left hand for the right side of my face and vice-versa. You don't perforce have to do it that way, you just have to alternate them.

I'm used to right and left handed use as I started with straights. I tried a de out yesterday and it felt positively alien trying to use one hand throughout. I'll be using two hands regardless of razor type I think!

As with everything else, my right hand. If I were to use my left hand it'd be a bloodbath.

Same here - I'm pretty bad with my left hand all told, though I did single-finger type this my my left as a test!

Curiously, the Italian for left is Sinistra, the origin of the word sinister. I'll just leave that here.........
