Temptations of the doodads is something I am familiar with.
It is rumored that some rain is on the way. Every digit and toe is crossed for good luck.
We're about 100 miles, 106 K from the biggest one, and still have poor air quality, as well as having had several days of ash fall. Fortunately, it is getting better.

Heard about the rain, could be good and bad. Be careful.
