Has anybody used Massdrop?

I've found something on Massdrop I would like to buy but the customs fees, taxes and long wait times are putting me off. Has anybody bought anything from Massdrop? Can you pay the customs fees and things in advance? Is there anything else I should know?

I got hit for customs etc on a pair of headphones last year. I don't think you can pay in advance?

It was late last year, probably November?

I would have used PayPal or a credit card directly, sorry I can't remember?

I think I got a card or letter in the post with the web address and a ref number and just paid online, easy peasy if painful
