Think the Irish may have something to say about that. a few very good Irish whiskeys around. Not all about the Scots. Also Japan is making some award winning whisky these days too.

Also a whisky from Tasmania was voted the worlds best single malt,Sweden are also producing single malt too,agree with Chris about Haig,it's shite,all fur coat coat and no knickers.

Totally agree, my favourites are Scottish but there are some very good whiskies from other countries.
