Gillette Silver Blue

How would you compare these blades to the 7 o' clock ones? I haven't tried them, but I want to. They're cheaper than SBs as well. :)

Oh, I have tried the SBs already. I was thinking to buy the 7 o' clock now. What about the Wilkinson Sword blades? Are they enough sharp as the SBs?

Are you talking 7 o'clock SharpEdge Yellow Pack? If so, they are smoother than GSB, just not as sharp. Like most, I find them to be a very comfortable blade. They will usually last longer than GSB too.
If you want something as smooth as the yellows but as sharp as GSB, try a Perma-Sharp Super, my favourite blade.
Of course, it can matter what razor it is being used in. I just happen to find the Perma-Sharp to be much better all round; more usable in a range of different razors.
Not a golden rule but the milder the razor, the sharper the blade needs to be, and vice versa.

Have you tried Wilkinson?
If you mean the white pack with black writing - yes and never again. I did not find them particularly sharp or smooth, particulalrly in comparison to Yellows. You may also want to consider Astra SP's, which admittedly are my personal favourite. Then again I don't mind Rubie's at a push, so what do I know.

Yeah, Astra SP's are a really good dependable blade, in fact the exact opposite of those Wilkinsons!
The Super Stainless Green 7 o'clock is a good smooth blade too but to me, not just at the yellows level.

Thanks for the info. I am currently using the SPs and I don't find them as sharp as the SBs. I want something as sharp as the SBs actually to try next. Maybe it's time I try out some Feather ones? :/

If you're using Feathers, I'd suggest a tame razor such as a Tech or EJ89. They're certainly challenging in more aggressive razors, maybe even lethal in some! [emoji3] GSB's are almost as sharp, but will last longer than the three (maximum) shaves you will get from Feathers. As Jel999 has suggested, also try the Polsilver SI, a very smooth blade. Feathers are of course Japanese but all the other suggestions are St.Petersburg made and you'll most likely find a suitable blade amongst their inventory.
The only other blade outside of that factory that I rate, are Personna Lab Blues. They are on a par with Perma-Sharp Supers.

Get a sampler pack of all the top Gillette blades and decide. Let it be known that many find the Gillette made in India 7 O'Clock Super Platinum to be the sharpest blade. For me it's a tad rough, but my face is rather tender after countless years of being caressed & kissed by an endless succession of Super Models. :D :p

I got a 10 blade Feather pack and the first was not too bad. I got a few cuts, but I'm OK now. lol

I am not sure I can find the difference in sharpness between them and the Gillette Silver Blue ones.

OK, I bought another pack of Silver Blues. They are great. They're definitely my Go-To blades. I have an aggressive razor and they are great with it.

I need to buy a Shavette and use it with these blades. lol

Silver Blues are not only very sharp but also very smooth. It's the smoothness that makes a difference, as seen in a scanning electron microscope

For comparison, this is what a Rapira Stainless looks like

From all the scan pictures I've seen, it's no wonder that I prefer St.Petersburg's finest.
