I got a free sample of this, a generous 50ml, after posting a review of their shaving cream on their website.

Although styled a 'moisturiser' it is perfectly suitable as an aftershave balm.

The product is unscented and is quite thick. So much so that I thought I would be in for a greasy face after using it. This turned out not to be the case and, although it needs a bit of rubbing in to disappear, it gave a very nice face feel - silky and non-greasy.

The lack of scent is going to be good for avoiding allergies but, for me, it could do with a little scent just to mask the 'raw' scent of the ingredients.

Just noticed some gift sets in Tesco this morning. And wondering if they were any good. May return to try them out. I do sometimes finds my face greasy after a few creams, but again some that I feel will leave me greasy are the total opposite.
One lady on the emelis counter in debnahams said to me that some oily skin will benefit from oily products, and help reduce that greasy appearance. Just need the right produce to balance. She even gave me a sample of face wash which was an oil and was amazing.

Interesting! I know they were struggling with sales with Amazon - quote they had 'administrative issues'. It's decent stuff and the moisturiser is well-received though I've not tried it.
As for the oily stuff for oily skin argument, it obviously varies person to person but the idea of fine/light carrier oils such as sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil, argan oil etc. is to stop the skin producing sebum (a very mild antiseptic and protective layer, the main cause of spots!). The idea is that if the skin goes 'oh this is oily already' then it won't produce (as much) sebum. If it works for you then happy days! Some people really don't get on with oily products however - in short, if it's financially viable for you to try, go for it!

I only used the sample they gave me and was good. But have used some of those water gel creams and are good for oily and combination skin too. May head back to tesco and grab a gift pack to try.
Just feels kind of weird washing your face with an oil.
