i do not know the answer to the question in the title but I'm sure there is someone who can tell me. Are all modern razor blades (DE) the same thickness ? If there are thickier / thinner blades which blade is the thickest on the market?
I await your reply's
Thank you. :)

There are a number of threads on this and Badger and Blade is building a database of measurements by micrometer. The answer is no, while .04 inches / .10mm is a standard there are thinner blades (none substantially thicker). There are many blades equal to Kai in thickness which urban legend suggest is unusually thick . It's not.

Thank you.

Since calipers are worthless for anything within + or - 0.003" - 0.004" I would take the measurements with a large grain of salt. A micrometer is better, but few people know how to use one correctly.
