Following on from the previous long winded thread, I have started a new one in an attempt to de-clutter and make choosing one of my made to order handles simpler.

I can make handles for most DE razors, new and vintage, in materials such as stainless, brass and bronze.

There are no set designs, so they are truly 'custom', to give you ideas and decide what you'd like here are some of the handles I've made in the past for forum members:

That's a copy of the Weber Wave handle (no longer made unfortunately) google it for images.
That's probably my favourite design. Wonder why Weber stopped making them.

I heard they weren't selling enough of them, something like 9:1 in favour of the other two.

Looking good, thanks, Iain! Those extensions should do the trick nicely. Do they come apart or are they locked solid?

Please don't forget the template!! A DLC head is at the point of tears awaiting the return of its handle.

They are the handles from the all aluminium razors we had a thread about a few weeks ago. As supplied, they are a tad short for my - so Iain has chopped them and inserted polished aluminium extension pieces and 90mm becomes 100mm - which is exactly right for me.

The others are a 'modified epee' design and that particular shape has exactly the right weight/balance ratio to suit me as well as being pleasing to my eye.

He's a very talented guy, is our Iain Gecko, innit? And many thanks to you, Iain!
 
Oh! what a luverly bunch of handles! thank you, Iain. Your bronze displaced a UFO bronze on the Meule - how's it spelled? - jet straight off - as I had expected it might. The two extended/inserted aluminium handles are so much better - for me - on the Standard razors - or whatever they are called - completely alters the balance and feel of the razor. The extra few grams don't go amiss either!

The two stainless modified Epees are awaiting their new homes, which will be discovered as we progress through my prolonged 'rotation'.

A brilliant job and may I say it? Cheap at twice the price!
