Cigarette lighters

Since one of my lighters sadly appears to be lost in transit I opted to pick up another inexpensive, used one.
This one sport my favorite American bourbon and is about ten years old - and it went for about as many dollars;

My new lighter has arrived....

I'm very pleased with it. It's quite small, which I think is a good thing, and has a wonderful tactile quality.

All I need now is some butane. Which is odd, because yesterday, in anticipation, I went to the supermarket specifically to buy some. I returned with £105-worth of shopping, and, of course, no butane!

I'm an occasional pipe smoker (and don't otherwise smoke), but I can see this lighter being an EDC item just because it's such a nice thing.

It's very MadMen!

The other lighter I like is the Xikar FlintFire, which is even more MadMen. They don't seem to be readily available in UK, though.

By coincidence, my first two jobs when I left school in the mid 1970s (and before I joined the RAF) were in advertising. It wasn't quite MadMen, but not far off sometimes, especially the pitches.
