Cheap synthetic in Boots

Saw this Real Shaving Co box in Boots the other day, I asked one of the workers in Boots to open the box and let me feel the knot which she dully did. Well guys this knot is defo synth and it feels a bit like the EJ brushes. £9.99 plus a decent cream is not bad in my book.

I picked one of these sets up a while back in Boots, I already liked the cream so I now have a handy 50ml size for travel, as for the brush it is a great little synthetic brush. At £9.99 what is not to like about this?

Hard to tell exactly, I don't have a set of calipers but using a rudimentary measurement I would say it is 21 to 22 mm.

Creighton's sold out to Swallowfield. I am not too sure what Creighton's now manufacturer as several brands left such as TOBS and GFT. Creighton's also sold St James of London, and no longer promote T&H No 10. They did buy Broad Oak to move into soap production.

Soap Works makes most of the soaps.

I collected the gift set today. The brush is not a Plissoft, but doesn't feel too bad. I don't know where my Body Shop brush is to compare. The shaving cream is a small 50ml. Not bad for £6.99, probably bad value at £9.99 given that it's not a Plissoft.
