I got mine as well. Won't be shaving with it any time soon as I sent it (like my SE-G) to a friend in the U.S. He will be bringing both of them when he comes back. I only hope Christmas comes earlier than December this year.

Customs charges on this category article and value are 2.7%, as I understand, which isn't much. The real kickers come from two directions; namely, the Royal Mail £8 rip-off, and VAT at 20%. I can't see either of those disappearing in a hurry, trade deals and Brexit notwithstanding.

I thought the £8 included the 2.7%, but apparently that's their fee for handling the excise and VAT, but there's no option to deal with them directly. As you say rip off.

yes about 30 , but I also bought the SE-G so the bill would come to roughly 60. Enough to buy another good razor.

the customs charge is quite small, I don't mind paying vat, we all do that wherever we by our goods, it's the RM charge that I don't like because they do nothing for it, I pick my stuff up from the sorting office!
