I tried to get platinum in white box online as I heard it is great razor but with no success. Then all of the sudden these showed up in local store. They are made in St. Petersburg if I remember well. It would be no problem for me to send you pack or two but postage from our country is ridiculously expensive.Hmmmm, interesting.I'd like to get my hands on some.

Agreed, you can hardly go wrong with an Astra SP. I have yet to try a Personna.

I love the Polsilver SI, but they are getting spendy. Currently enjoying my Voshkods, they are a great value and work well for me. Also Personna Blue.

Last month, wasn't it? You can't snag more than 25 from them now. I'm hoarding my 2000 Polsilver stash, and planning on taking any extra to the grave.

The Goldilocks stuff, Astra SP or Gillette Platinum. Mind you I can't really tell a difference between blades except coated/uncoated. I thought I felt night and day difference but prep, software, lather, skin and whisker condition, mood, technique etc. are much larger variables for me.

Personna Platinum Chrome. Perfect balance between sharpness and smoothness ... for me.
OTOH: the best blades I used were vintage Wilkinson Swords. Incredibly long lasting as well.

While waiting on my order of Blue Box Platinum blades I found out its UPC code is the same as the White Box Platinum. This leads me to believe that it is the same as the White Box which I have used SxS against the current Blue & White box and IMO they are the very same blades.
I could be wrong, but I will do a SxS with all three when the Blue Box ones arrive.

Well for me this new blue and old blue are not the same. Old had extreme sharpness near to feather and was a piece that needed all the attention when shaving.
