August 2017 Acquisitions

Received the grooming kit won a couple of days ago. Have sorted out the keepables:

The US Ever Ready and case are shiney². The glass cologne bottle has a screw in splasher. The Burgundy cologne is about ⅔ full and smells really good. The travel brush boar knot is shedding, so will look for a synthetic re-knot and the brush tube has a plastic insert.
Not too bad result for £8.

This was my first brush along with a wilkinson sword, when i started DE shaving in 2016...both i still use to this day, excellent non-expensive brushes.

You didn't have a measuring tape, you had a nuclear thermo-outerspace laser guided measuring thing...:D

That is a beautiful lather in my opinion Shaun and good old Palmolive has worked its magic again.
I would love a bowl like that.
Isn't is strange how we all walk into charity shops and the first thing we do is look for bowls. :)

I have never looked at a bowl in my life until I become hooked with the wet shaving world. :D
