I think they're ok blades but I just can't seem to get past the third shave with them. I had shave #4 with an Astra today, very scratchy.

I like Astra SPs and I know some people get a unbelievable amount of shaves from one blade but they are so cheap I only use twice and replace.

That's the best approach, I go to 3 with any blade then bin it. One exception is the Wilkinson classic, I've had up to eight flawless shaves with a single blade but they're so cheap I hit 5 comfortably with them, then it's bin time.

I am with you. I've tried a couple of times to love these. So widely loved, and such good value. I end up feeling like I've been tied by my ankles to the back of a car and dragged face down on the road for 10miles.

I take back any previous doubts about the blades, since putting them in the R41 I've found they give a nice shave.

Okay - I kept trying with these, and now, after 4 attempts, I am a big fan. In terms of value/performance, hard to beat. I am glad I persevered.
