Ordered by executive shaving.
What size did you get and what do you think of it?

I ordered the 30 mm,.

It is a large brush which I only used for the first time. The brush lathers fine and is imho a mix between the plisson (fluffy) and simpson chubby synthetic (stif). So for now, I think I have got a winner. :)

Got my Craig Barr blades back from Rob (UKRob on TSR) and my God what a fantastic job he's done scaling, pinning and honing them. Done in Corian they are Cream with a blue wedge and visa versa for the second blade. Absolutely fabulous work Rob.

Since we've lost the old thread, I hope it's OK to create this one.

It's not the only thing I've bought this month, but this morning I tried the cheapest razor I've ever seen. I already had a Yuma, which was £1.40 unboxed and came with other things that I was ordering. I recently saw this thing on eBay for 99p delivered and couldn't help myself.

It actually produced an acceptable shave. There's no weight to it, so some pressure needs to be applied, and it felt fairly agressive, at times like it was just a blade on a stick, though that could be an illusion from the plastic.

One thing about those cheap Chinese razors is that even if the razors not up to much you do end up with a little case to protect your decent razors for travelling. And if the razor gives a decent shave then it's a very cheap travel razor if you don't fancy risking your pride & joy when away from home.

Nice boxed 30's bakelite made in England and an unused Boots English lavender shave stick in a mint cream bakelite tube. (Will be going on BST).
Rusty old straight thrown in to.

And the dealer gave me two free tickets to an antiques fair at the NEC with a promise she has a box full of straights she'll sell to me.

(She doesn't sell the straights she gets from clearances as there are too many weirdos and terrorists who buy them. She's mental)

If I ever need to travel really light, it'll be ideal, it weighs nothing! It's not really enjoyable, though, so I'd have to be desperate to save every ounce.
