I bought a cheap, "blemished" Journeyman from Shaving Shack for about £10. It's fine when paired with a Nacet and I wouldn't be heartbroken if it disappeared on a business trip.

Hi @Roy, I think it was me who mentioned the bathroom. The scent lasts for a while after the shave but I think is quite subtle. I don't think that it's as persistent as, for example, the LPL Oud-Santal.

I covered the soap with warm water whilst I had a shower, drained the water off and used as a pre-shave and then hit it with a warm wet brush - excellent results and after a three pass, I still had a load of lather on the brush.

Just tried the LPL Rosemary and the whole bathroom still smells of rosemary. A lovely deep but fresh scent. I coupled it with witch hazel and the result is excellent. As noted above I showed it a bit of warm water and was rewarded with loads of smooth creamy lather. Just a note: Yourshaving...

Just to echo pjgh's excellent advice, I would recommend witch hazel. Fresh and cool skin. It's half price in Boots atm.
