Stirling Naked & Smooth. Also Stirling Sheep is unscented. And they do one that is Stirling Unscented with Beeswax. Also, Simpsons Cream is available as unscented, and a very good performer for quicker lathering.

    Benefits of SE over DE?

I'm very much in the early stages of my journey, but it is the Hawk that I reach for most of the time. I think of it as the shave of a straight, with the speed and safety of a DE. I haven't given up on DE yet, but I can see a thinning of the herd on my bathroom shelves. Cheers, John

    Benefits of SE over DE?

I'm enjoying the Razorock Black Hawk v2. I reckon it is a bargain at under £30 too.

Think I'm moving over from OSP to Stirling. Most of my OSP are creams, rather than soaps. I prefer creams or croaps, as I prefer to pop a bit into a bowl rather than lathering from the puck.

Kai Excellia, I just need a relaxing weekend with a couple of days growth to give it a good try. I have got most of the way through the first pass, but I need far more practice with it. John

I have a very poor sense of smell, due to a couple of surgeries, so I find the menthol helps. I might then get a hint of the scents then. Yes, I'm also wondering why I have so many different scented products that I can't really smell properly.... John
