    New brush/synthetic brush recommendation

Such a fantastic reply. I would like it a dozen times if I could.

    Show us your boars!

And at $85 they can keep them. I could have some really crazy nice customs turned for that, and stick Omega knots in them.

    Show us your boars!

Mine is just fine, and I have heard no complaints from any others at TSD, other than some (including) me who had to nurse it through an awful lot of shaves before it quit. Mostly it seems to be a very well liked offering. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Are Pure Badgers really that bad?

You sure buy a lot of “spare” stuff.

    Semogue 2000 huge knot splay.

I agree. Each brush is different, and I enjoy seeing how each knot develops with use. That is a beautiful bloom on your Semogue.

I need to find new soaps!

Stirling Soap, Tabac, and Haslinger are all soaps that I get great lather from for straight shaving, and are readily available pretty much anywhere.

Take it from an American: Billy's reputation spans continents.

    Pre- Shave oil

In the wintertime, I use pre-shave on occasion because my skin gets so dry. I do not find it has a positive effect on the shave itself whatsoever.

    Big Brush lovers!

Wish they would offer some of these handles with Badger knots. To me, once you have one Plissoft, you have enough.

    Palm stropping

As someone who regularly strops carbon steel on leather (straights), I doubt only doing seven or eight passes would have much benefit. It would seem to me that a the same number of passes with a SS blade on the palm of ones hand would have even less. That said, if it works for you, enjoy it.

Haslinger soaps, how are you using the pucks?

Takes about two minutes to grate and press into any container you choose. [emoji106]

    Freshly Honed Razors

I am a pretty new honer (9 months or so), and I can say one thing with certainty: It is easier to KEEP a blade sharp, than to MAKE it sharp. It only takes a couple minutes to refresh one, but takes a newbie a good hour to hone one. I will hit mine with CrOx once or MAYBE twice, but after that it...

    Mole Issues

You can use this: I understand you aren't talking wart; same process. We have used that at my house, my wife is an RN, she has taken several tags off of me, and one pesky mole. Not sure what your mole looks like.... it's gonna leave a nasty scab for a while, and sometimes you have to do it...

    What are you listening to?

III is pretty cool, and he can put in a Hell of a show. I agree with you about the one trick pony thing. I don't see him lasting decades upon decades like his dad and grampa. But how about Shooter Jennings? That kid has his some of his dad's music in him.
