Wilkinson Sword Sticky vs. Schick Krona

I have used every Krona model made, but the Sticky was/is not common over here. Perhaps it was made for foreign sales(?). That said, I can tell no difference between Krona models and truth be told it's a better TTO design than any Gillette for that matter.

    The Venerable Edwin Jagger DE89

The DE89/R89 is not as intuitive to use, especially for a beginner, as a Gillette Tech. As well, it was not innovative in that it merely copied a basic Merkur. EJ put lipstick on the pig with a fancy chrome job and the Brits went....

    Gillette Fatboy stuck dial

I have soaked Fatboys and used sonic cleaners till the paint came off!! Still, upon a complete teardown there were hairs and soap gunked up!! You can soak it until Britain rules the waves again and you will not get all the crap out until you tear it down and mechanically remove it with brush &...

    Tech

The theory is that the later Techs with the long oval slots dampen blade chatter better than the earlier triangular slot models. Not all subscribe to the theory however, but I happen to be one who does. It is ever so subtle and usually only the seasoned Tech aficionado can detect it, but I think...

    Stirling Sheep Reformulated

No, but there were some people who do not like the natural scent of tallow for whatever reason and they are unusually vocal, i.e., whiners.

    B&M Lather Guide

I don't know if those of you in the UK can see this due to funky Youtube restrictions, but it is an interesting & new (today) guide on how to lather their soaps:

    Advice

Know simply that the vast majority of people who flirt with adjustables eventually end up using a preferred two/three piece razor in the end IMO.

    Stirling Sheep Reformulated

No, they didn't remove the tallow, but now say it is unscented. I'd imagine that is for those that seem to not like the subtle mutton tallow scent. IMO Sheep is the best mutton tallow shaving soap made and we all don't need to be reminded of the reform. MWF debacle. I have a puck of the old...

TGS Sapone Viso E Corpo Tallow 1

Recently on a whim I bought a bar of The Goodfellas' Smile Sapone Viso E Corpo Tallow 1 and I just have to state for the record that this is a fantastic bar soap and the scent on this one is over the moon!! Great lather and non-drying. As well, the bar is lasting a good while. The marvelous...

    King C Gillette Blades?

The Gillette has a Mühle head I read and believe. I have one and it's a fine shaver.
