Sorry to bump this but I just got these blades and I love them. Using them in my Jagger DE89 and found them better for me than the Astras I have also used. I will continue to use both and decide which I prefer in the long term.

Eucris scent is lovely (subjective I know) but Trumper soaps can be difficult to get a great lather with. If you like the scent, the Eucris EdT is for you too... long lasting and gets me great compliments!

Well the face puck method didn't really work for me. I have managed to get better (but not perfect) results but loading a fairly wet brush with quite a bit of the soap and then vigorously working the brush in to a bowl. I have been trying a very quick side-to-side action to build a thicker...

That's the DE razor that I have got too. Love it. I do keep trying my straight but just cannot get close enough results and also I am not quick enough. Mine came with Astra DE blades.

Have you tried installing LibreOffice which was a fork of OpenOffice? On Linux distributions it has become pretty much the defacto office package. it will open all the files created by OO. At least you can then see if the program or a file is corrupted. Good luck.
