Geo F Trumper Almond soap with bowl. ## COMPLETE ##

Boxed etc, probably 1/4 - 1/3 used (a bit hard to tell) but I don't really use it anymore. A small scuff on the label on the lid where it had been taped down when it arrived. £8 posted? I'll include a brand new (still sealed) Badger&Hone (RIP) face flannel if the buyer wishes. Paypal...

Your first car's story in one paragraph

1983 Metro City 1.0 DEL 227Y 'Purchased' from my mum in 1990 when I passed my test aged 17. Not fast in anyway, but as a born petrolhead it was my first taste of freedom and for that reason, probably the most 'fun' car I've ever owned! (photo of a photo, sorry for the quality)

    Your father's first car...

Great thread. The first I remember was YLG 59W, a 1.6L Cortina mk4 saloon (a bit more orange than this Ghia!) Prior to that, he had a mk3 estate in purple, but I can't remember that!

    Some grinder advice...

Great, lots of advice there, thank you. To clarify, I drink espresso the majority of the time, mostly from my Krups espresso maker (not the best, but has always made good consistent coffee to me) but also on occasion from my stovetop maker. On occasion, and to justify the purchse to my wife I...

    Some grinder advice...

Thanks guys ;) I'm quite set on an electric one I think, thanks for the suggestion of trawling secondhand shops, but that sounds a bit too much like shopping for me...! I'll have a better look at the specs of the ones I've listed and do a bit more digging.

    Some grinder advice...

Hmmmm, thats a concern. The majority of it's use will be in Krups espresso machine, although it will also see use in a stovetop espresso maker as well as the cafetiere for my wife.

    Some grinder advice...

I'm looking for my first grinder, so I can start getting coffee in beans rather than already ground. I don't drink a huge amount, so want a fairly small unobtrusive grinder so it doesn't end up in the cupboard, next to the juicer..! The Bellux one from AGS has always tempted me after I read...

New Forest Tubby 1 FS ##COMPLETE##

I've had this brush about a year I think, it's been an irregular player in the rotation though so hasn't seen much use. http://newforestbrushes.blogspot.co.uk/2011/02/new-forest-tubby-1-and-2.html It has a 24mm knot and a loft of 52mm - made of two band super badger. The handle is...

Off to Fethiye, Turkey very soon

Fethiye market is massive, it's very touristy but there's a few gems tucked away. I picked up a great horse hair brush for just a few pounds - remember to barter hard! In the shops, I thoroughly recommend the Fonex range of products, the after shaves are especially good. Enjoy :sleepy:

    Acquisitions w/c Mon 4th - Sun 10th June incl.

I've been absent for too long :icon_sad: I've still be shaving of course, but it took a recent trip to Turkey to rekindle the love as it were, (sorry for the pics, phone pics for ease of uploading  ) A couple of bargain market buys, the brush is horse (apparently) and performs...

    Leatherman

Nice one, as I said mine has lasted me well. The only real weak point I've found is the knife blade is quite short.

    Leatherman

I have a Leatherman Wave, I bought it 13 years ago in Canada. They're strong money over here I expect (£90 ish?) but in my opinion very useful. Mine generally stays at home in this day and age but gets used for a wide variety of tasks. That said, I also have a Gerber Suspension, (£25 ish)...
