    I finally used one of the 'Made in England' Wilkies.I found they gave a very smooth,comfortable and safe shave.Some blades you use with a bit of trepidation,not these.Slot it in,use without thinking,no bites or nicks.Reminded me of the green Astra's but better.The hunt is on for some more:icon_razz:

    I have just bought a King Of Shaves Hyperglide(Made in Britain) to do my bonce for the first time.Trim it down first with my trimmers.Very good it was too with some additional oil.I bought it mainly because I think it will be faster/easier than with my HD Rocket.Until 30/4/14 there is a 50% off...

    Mitchell's Wool Fat (MWF)

    Hi! Not posted in nearly a year (got obsessive and expensive) but this thread literally made me go and have a shave with MWF again.Forgotten how smooth a shave it gives, with no dry skin afterwards.Wonderful stuff.

    'Shave' cream AUS$3 from the supermarkets.Used to be called 'Fauldings' and comes in Brown/orange packaging. I brought a couple of tubes back from a recent visit. Nice cream,very manly smell.I like it.

    IMHO don't waste money on aftershave.Use a good balm/moisturiser then spray EDT (almost) anywhere you want.It's stronger and lasts longer:icon_smile:

    I have to concur with Simon regarding these blades. I was really looking forward to trying these as I'm aware they are quite well thought of. Tried both sides of the blade on both cheeks, really draggy,almost painful,hardly any whiskers removed.:icon_sad: Didn't dare try the neck so swapped...

    S.O.T.D. Saturday 11th May to Friday 17th May 2013

    After Simon's comments I dug out my FE's and brought my shave forward. Same procedure as always hot water splash at the sink,MWF,HD Rocket. First cheek-Lots of tugging,almost painful and not much whisker removal.In denial of what I just experienced tried the other cheek with the same result...
