No problems with Arko for me......i've been using it for the past 2 years. But I fancy something new and was wondering if some soaps are better suited to hard water.

Are there any specific soaps that lather well in hard water areas of the country......or do you just have to work a bit harder to lather up?

Have got my eye on Proraso for sensitive skin (white tub). Im hoping that it's a soap but if it's a cream then so be it....i'll still use it.

Gonna go retro and get a Palmolive stick. (Just hope they haven't tried to 'improve' it by giving it a new modern day formula).

That's it..........just finishing my second stick of Arko nearly two years after my initial purchase. What should I try next folks?

Don't know much about these new fangled amps that people are referring to in this thread. I'm still using a 1971 Kustom 20 watt combo amp. Nice clean channel and spring reverb.......but overdrive channel is meh. Still though it's good enough for my bedroom nurdlings.

There's a 12 setting? Lol, makes me think of the amps volume on Spinal Tap going up to 11.

Two years of using Derby blades and Arko soap. Surely I've paid my dues to the shaving gods. New year.....new blades.....new soap.

Only because I acquired 100 of them 2 years ago or so and have been using them up. Surely....I'm due a change of blade.

Still open to suggestions/choice hasn't been made yet. Might treat myself to a cheeky Crimbo sample blade pack.

I wouldn't mind using/owning a razor that was made in my birth year. Is there a system that can date when a razor was made? Serial numbers? Year of manufacture numbers?
