Well, Big thanks to 49er for the Gillette Tech he sent me. Ive shaved a few times with this and a voskhod blade and it's definitely more suited to me. Lovely razor and combined with that blade seems to have helped a lot. Matt

Hi, I have tried not shaving ATG and it almost seems the hair on my lower neck doesn't start to come off until that pass.WTG doesn't seem to touch it or XTG. Its just really tough coarse stubborn stubble :(

Hi, Usually shower before and then shave straight after. If I don't shower then I really wet my stubble and put a hot towel over my face to soften the beard. I've tried proraso preshave once and it made my skin sting so haven't tried any other. Matt

The way it felt on the third pass especially was as soon as the razor touched my skin , it was painful , as I tried to shave with it, it felt raw. In the end I stopped and have prickly stubble left that will irritate the heck out of me tomorrow morning. Cheers for the offer, will PM you now :)
