This has become a multi-national forum. Your North American cousins use the term "puck" as the soap more resembles the little black disc used in hockey, than any cake you might buy at Sainsburys. Still is common knowledge there.It has been generally referred to as a "cake" for just over a century or so. Used to be a common knowledge here.
