Okay, what do you prefer we call a short, squat, cylindrical portion of soap if not a puck? I would prefer to avoid being associated with the striped rodent association.

This has become a multi-national forum. Your North American cousins use the term "puck" as the soap more resembles the little black disc used in hockey, than any cake you might buy at Sainsburys. Still is common knowledge there.
