Wickhams soaps

I picked up my first order of Wickham 1912 soaps and tried Russian Leather for the first time. I am very impressed with the ease it lathers and the overall quality of the soap. If the other samples are of similar quality, these soaps will become a staple.

@Roy In my experience Wickhams very easy to lather - for that summer sent, I wouild go for the Critrus Musk. As always YMMV :)

@Roy - What he @Ferry-shave said - Citrus Musk is my favourite Wickham soap. A bright, fresh and uplifting scent - with a deeper base. It lathers like a dream - granted I'm using about as soft water as you get anywhere in the UK. Sorry I can't be more helpful about summer specific scents - I live in Scotland - we generally don't get them. It stops raining for a couple of days most years. The matching Citrus Musk aftershave is excellent for me too - scent longevity beyond most splashes. Cheers - I.

Ok to my mind Wales has many different things it can be associated with. But how about a profile that has. Rugby represented by earthy, green and leather notes for the soil, grass and ball. Choirs represented by woody and fruity notes for the wooden pews and communal wine. And finally Mining represented by tar, metallic, and musk notes for the coal, machinery and mens sweat. Lol just a random idea

That's pretty well thought out. Might smell awful, but the idea is solid.
