cargo shorts

I like the Helikon BDU shorts, no zipped pocket but a good cut and tough as old boots (check the buttons though!).
Been looking at the Alpkit and Craghopper options for a more tech option but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

It seems to be the one weak point in Helikon's stuff - sewing on buttons. So I always check and re-sew as needed when I get anything from them. A stitch in time saves wandering around with your fly gaping open, or something like that.
It's a bit of a weak point on the Craghoppers too! Only the second time on and pop off it came, it's not comming off now! :)

I'm 6' with a 32" waist and maybe a 32-33" inside leg. I usually get the M size and adjust down to my waist size, there's room either way from there maybe 31.5" to 33"? I got the long in the SFU trousers and to be honest they were too long and I'd go for a regular next time, always a bit Russian Roulette leg length. The BDU shorts come down to my knees 11" leg?
