No, but your right it's in France, well off the coast of France. It's ile de rhe, off the coast at la Rochelle.
It's the place we always seem to end up, even if we were heading for Alsace. Lol

A great spot for a picnic and a drop or two of cider.

Unfortunately Paul, it's the one thing the French don't do very well, their cidre is very weak and generally to sweet for me, but I will forgive them.
Ile de rhe is great for stopping, just relaxing, and enjoying what's important, not what we think is important.
If i could afford a place on the island, I would probably go, but it's also where the wealthy Parisians own second homes.
