Greetings,

Early morning shave.

Everything in my shave set up paired together wonderfully.

Maiden shave with the V12 Super Platinum Blade, which I've had for quite some time and only got round to try them out. the verdict? A surprisingly good blade I find they have a good balance of smoothness & efficiency, something I really like in a blade.

They paired together with the Baili BD 191 exceptionally well making a mild smooth comfortable duo. As for the longevity if i can get two good acceptable outings from them, which i assume i will then I'll be content.

I normally bowl lather when using tube shave creams but this morning i tried putting it directing into the damp synthetic and face lathering, dipping the brush tips when more water was needed building up the lather to the consistency I prefer.

A very enjoyable 2 pass + pick-ups close comfortable near BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Aloe Vera Body Lotion.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Brush: C&H 'Mammoth'
Soap: SV Cubebe
Razor: Blackland Tradere
Blade: GSB (1)
Post: SV Cubebe

Very nice shave this morning, been a while since I've used the SV, really is a cracking soap and the scent is brilliant. Nice smooth finish with the weight of the Tradere doing all the work. Curious to get my hands on the SB at some point, would be nice if they did parts for the Tradere.

Hope everyone has a cracking day!

Cheers

Marc

RR 400. SE - Plissoft noir
L’ Occitane Cade soap
Schick N3
Schick S/S Twin - Japan ( 11)
Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion

Wanting a nice hassle free Shave, I always get it with the N3 fitted with a Twin blade. Am using the L’Occitane Cade soap a lot more as it does deliver a nice creamy lather to work with, and I note that it is again available in UK .

Razor: Assured 3 Piece
Blade: Wizamet
Brush: Suart/Timberwolf
Soap: b-pure
AS 1: Witch Hazel
AS 2: Power Stick Shave Balm
Fragrance:
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,484

The soap for $1.25 is a great deal. It isn't a top artisan soap but very good to get the job done and lathers easily. The razor has a lot of blade feel meaning blade exposure which translates to blade chatter galore. I got a good shave from it but not a comfortable razor if you are shaving your whole face including around the mouth and chin with all the contours. The chatter had it struggling on the against the grain for my whiskers especially in the mustache area. I'm not a Balm guy but while it felt sticky, filmy or greasy (Choose your terminology) going on, as I type this it has absorbed well and feels good. Nice kick from the peppermint oil in it. Have a great day everyone !
