...the Omega special (011829) is proving to be a good brush...very good. Not as scrubby as I expected but I am still enjoying it greatly. Break-in is simalr to the prof.102, very quick, indeed I am sure this would work straight out of the box. @Oomer. I gave it a long soak with periodic drying on a towel which worked a treat. If you enjoy Omega pro knots and especially their unbleached bristles, this I am sure, will be a winner for you...

I must agree with you, this is a fantastic brush, I am still soaking / drying mine and it is breaking in very nicely indeed. The bristle has been set perfectly imo, just the right size and the handle is a quality one. I can safely say this is my best boar brush for face lathering.

My opinion that tallow soaps cannot be bettered for slickness no longer exists since my exposure to this 1912 formula. And the scent on this Classic 24 is glorious.

Simpsons Wee Scot
Merkur Mergress
Gillette Rubie (2)
Bea Shaving Stick
Alum Block, Myrsol Emulsion & Floid Mentolado Vigoroso

A good shave but a few weepers today, I think it could be down to me and having dropped the blade. I don't think I will use it tomorrow, I'll just chuck in something for a one day use. First time face lathering with the brush, a nice bit of scrub to it. Certainly holds enough lather for a 4 pass shave. A lovely little brush and well priced introduction to Simpsons badger brushes.

RazoRock Syn.24mm

PAL Injecto-Matic
Schick Proline ( 2 )
Tuff Green A/S lotion

The Proline blade really works very well in all the Injectors that I have used it in. In fact it calms down the PAL a lot, turning it into a very smooth Razor.Today I was a bit lazy as I curtailed the Shave a bit quickly so did not get the usual close Shave.

Blade: Gem SS #2
Razor: Ever Ready 1912 Stubby Handle
Brush: Semogue 620 boar
Soap: NSS Moroccan Sands
Post: BBA Balm
EDT: 4711

A glorious 3 pass shave with the formidable razor that is the Ever Ready 1912.
It never ceases to amaze me.
The Semogue 620 is a recent acquisition from BST. Thank you @Blackmass
It is in its breaking in period and I must say my initial thoughts are very positive.
I am a big fan of NSS and the Moroccan Sands is divine. Post shave feel is sublime.
Finished with BBA Balm and a generous splash of 4711

Enjoy your shaves! :)
