I love the Klar soaps in their small tubs but as you say lathering from such a small tub is not ideal so I use a sharp pen knife and scrape waffer thin slithers from the top of the cake / puck into my lathering bowl and add a couple of drops of hot water to bloom and then lather up with a boar brush, works a treat. :) P.
Great tip, Paul - will definitely give this a go. Cheers, T.

Without a doubt in my mind the most tallow like vegan soap around. Mitchells Wool Fat like post shave feel[emoji207]

This shave is a first for me with the Williams Mug Soap and the new Jayaruh brush. The brush was top-notch! Great ergonomics with the rubberset-like handle and the synthetic faux-horse hair with soft tips but very good backbone. 10/10. The Williams performed reasonably. The citronella scent was a surprise, the strength of it at least. But the lather for a first use though usable was a bit lacking as it collapsed very quickly on the face. The glide was there but a bit of cushioning would be welcome. I'll try to fine tune my process in future wednesdays to check if it was user error hehe.

Wednesday 22nd November pm

Birch Tar Soap
RR Plague Doctor Soap
Zenith Boar Brush
RR Black Hawk V2 with a Proline-P
Alum Block and Rinse
Rosehip Oil
Benjamins Kananga Water
Molecule 01 Super ISO E EDP (Later before work)

Another dreary miserable day in Wales. Thankfully I have slept through most of it as I am working nights tonight. Three passes for a super BBS shave

Pre: Warm water face wash

The ATT R2 (on loan from @Blackmass - cheers Rob), really is a mean machine, the whiskers don't stand a chance. Got the alum block out to check and a wee bit tingly around the chin but as I get more acquainted with the R2, I'm hopeful that'll improve.
@Digimonkey, this almost broke the Petrometer, an unbelievable 99.97 Petrifs. That's as smooth as the quartz, being polished continuously, by the cascading waters of the Angel Falls.
