Gareth's Bay Rum - Feedback and Expressions of Interest.

What's a "gallon"?......

I think we both know what a gallon is.... it's what you get ten of in one of these :-

Only six takers in the 10 days since Gareth offered a second batch of 100ml of homemade Bay Rum, delivered to the door for less than the price of a gallon and a half of unleaded petrol. And that includes a decent new brown glass bottle and postage using a boxing so secure it could do a moon landing and still look good.

As was said to me recently, nothing is selling on the forum (s) these days. Although in this case it hardly warrants the term "selling" given the time and trouble plus materials, packaging, postage etc. And it's a nice drop of splosh too.

Remarkable.
I've moticed the decline of the forum too, although except for the recent bay rum posts, I haven't contributed much either. This is mostly because I have no will power and was spending unnecessary money on stuff I didn't need after reading about it on here.

I'd happily make another batch anyway, but I'm torn between not wanting to take people's money up front and not wanting to be left in the lurch.

I'll send you the money up front, no problem mate.

Nice one chaps. I'll buy the bits at the weekend and sort money as and when.

@Blademonkey, as far as I'm concerned you're welcome to add your name to the list if you'd like some more, others have had ample time to put their name down.

The mods only have themselves to blame for all the tumbleweeds blowing through this ghost-town. ;)
I'd recommend reading this thread in the 'feedback' section: http://www.theshavingroom.co.uk/com...n-branched-from-nishys-farewell-thread.39181/
This doesn't belong here. There is a forum where issues can be raised. It also seems unproductive to dwell on matters of long ago and prior to the arrival of most of the currently active members.

Let's get back on topic please.
