Big surprise today. A well-meaning relative, clearly sympathetic to my RAD madness, got this little fellow off the Bay as a late Xmas gift for me. An Ever Ready 1914 (aka the 'Little lather catcher')...been after one for a wee while. A few cosmetic scuffs and brassing on the comb but, aside from that, in reasonable nick, I think.

I Received this Absolute NOS Mint Russian Dvuhzakovnaya 5/8th (Double forged ) 1962 Birth Year SR Today..The Pics Don't Do this SR Any Justice..My Friend @Karl G Kindly Sent Me it as a Birthday Present..He Highlighted the Razor a Few Weeks Ago & Egged Me to Buy it..Well..What a Wonderful Surprize I Had Today when I Opened the Parcel from Our Friend @NCoxSTL in the Ukraine..I Will Hone Her Up Tonight I Reckon..:)

The Factory Edge is Set a Lot Closer than the Later One I Received from the 1970s..In Other Words their Doesn't Appear to be a Lot of Metal to Remove & the Steel Feels & Looks a Bit Softer..I Reckon this will Hone Up in Jig Time..;)

During a trip to the local ikea I could fetch two inexpensive bowls.... lets see how they perform...Usually I am face lathering, but mainly because of not having found a proper bowl for me yet....

A white one, which is dead ugly according to my wife, has a height of 7cm and 13cm in diameter and cost me ('KNUT') 0,99€, a stainless one (6cm/12cm) 2,99€.

Also got a Rockwell black hawk SE and some feather pro and kai mild blades....

Today I received my order from ItalianBarber.
For all you synthetic heads out there I highly recommend you go out and buy this new brush from razorock, how they sell this for £20 shipped is beyond me. It is a much bigger brush than I was expecting nice and heavy and the knot is super soft.
Also bought the razorock old type razor, lovely solid handle and old type open comb head.

I've given it a couple of goes and it seems quite decent and not at all oily, in fact it dries quite matt unlike other creams.
