SE razors are not floating my boat...yet.:p
I must say I love the handle on that one. Does the handle screw off?
Hope you're keeping well?
No, not on this one, it's the quality of shave you get from a SE, it's hard to explain but it is a different kind of shave, ( for me) shaving with my pal and supply provisions SE razor has opened my eyes to SE shaving and I want to explore every avenue .
Yes I am keeping well enough thanks mate, and youreself?

I do like the look of the PAL razor you have been using over the last couple of days.

I haven't really looked into SE razors, so apologies if I'm wrong here but it's the limited chose of blades which put me off, especially using Feather blades.

I'm feeling much better thanks for asking Paul. Glad to hear you are doing well.

I use Schick blades , buttery smooth but sharp, there are a few choices with the injector razor blades and you can always cut down a feather blade if you wished. And with my latest Gem I will just buy Gem blades from connoughs . Cheap enough if you buy them by the 200. :)

Received another $20 Gillette Goodwill in the mail.
This one also from Canada. It' not that much to look at but it's another re-plate candidate for Chris at Razorplate this month as he is already slated to work on the other Goodwill that I have...

It certainly has been used over the years...

....but managed to stay intact in term of straight teeth and no cracks in the handle

It would be rather fun to have both of them restored to former glory...

An excellent vintage haul today. Houbigant Yama aftershave (which has a spicy oriental chypre fragrance to my nose), Penhaligon's Castile shaving cream, Penhaligon's Castile aftershave, Penhalifon's Endymion aftershave, and Penhaligon's Racquets Formula aftershave. I have used the Castile cream and aftershave previously, but not the other stuff.
